PQA’s President, Keith McIntosh, was selected to join a delegation of Atlantic Canada’s business leaders in Alberta this month. These leaders promoted the region’s world class expertise, innovation, high quality products and services as part of the Council of Atlantic Premiers Communication and Business Outreach Mission.
The mission was designed to focus on strengthening and enhancing trade partnerships between the four Atlantic Provinces and Alberta, showcasing how companies in Atlantic Canada can quickly and efficiently supply companies in Alberta with the goods and services they need. Shawn Graham, Premier of New Brunswick; Robert Ghiz, Premier of Prince Edward Island; Cecil Clarke, Attorney General and Minister of Justice of Nova Scotia; and Shawn Skinner, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development of Newfoundland and Labrador were all present to participate in this event.
It was a beneficial networking and partnership opportunity for PQA and a perfect illustration of how government and business can work together in the current global economic environment.
