Course Announcement: Rapid Software Testing (RST) Course

PQA Testing is organizing a public Rapid Software Testing (RST) course in Vancouver, April 8 – 10, 2015. Class size is limited to the first 24 registrants. The early bird rate is $1,100.00 until February 15, 2015, after which the rate will increase to $1,300.00 until March 15, 2015. From March 16, 2015 on, late registration, if space is available, will be $1,500.00. Payment is due on registration and is non-refundable. Substitution is permitted. A light breakfast will be provided. The course will be held downtown Vancouver, and the venue will be announced at a later date.

James Bach and Michael Bolton describe Rapid Testing as a mind-set, and a skill set about how to do excellent software testing in a way that is very fast, inexpensive, credible and accountable.

This Rapid Software Testing course is a three-day class in which participants learn about Rapid Testing through a series of experiential exercises—many of which are computer-based—designed to model real-life testing situations. The exercises are supplemented with debriefs and discussions which explore and contextualize the classroom experience with life in the real world. Participants are welcome and encouraged to bring their own testing problems from the workplace for analysis and discussion in class.
